Assault Causing Harm Investigation – Littlepace, Clonee, Dublin 15

littlepace

Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating an Assault Causing Harm incident that occurred in the Littlepace area of Clonee, Dublin 15.  On 6th May this year, the victim was calling to houses in the Littlepace area with the hope of finding some lawn mowing work.  He had his lawnmower and some petrol in a jerry can with him.

Shortly before 9:45pm, after the victim had finished calling to the houses, he was approached by a group of five males.  One of the male suspects poured some of the petrol into a lucozade bottle, set it alight and threw it at the victim.  The victim managed to get the fire extinguished, however he suffered serious burn injuries, across his head, hand and leg, as a result of the incident.
